Both models are housed in lightweight, compact 15-mm plywood enclosures with internal bracing and a durable EVCoat finish, ensuring durability and ease of transport. Large slot ports are incorporated into the design to minimize distortion and enhance bass extension. Additional features include metal grille reinforcement bars and an M20 threaded pole mount plate for secure satellite speaker mounting, making the EKX subwoofers a versatile choice for both portable and installed sound systems.
