Continue ShoppingThe EVC-1122-VIW is a 12-inch, two-way passive installation loudspeaker designed to deliver consistent sound coverage from the front to the back of long rooms. Its Variable Intensity (VI) design combines an angled 12-inch EVS-12M woofer with an asymmetrical waveguide to distribute sound evenly across a defined rectangular audience area from a single loudspeaker.
Featuring a 1.25-inch titanium compression driver and a 1.6 kHz fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley crossover, the EVC-1122-VIW provides clear speech reproduction and detailed music performance. It offers 300 W continuous and 1,200 W peak power handling, with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a frequency response of 70 Hz to 22 kHz. Its coverage pattern is designed to reduce front-to-back sound level differences when the speaker is installed and aimed correctly.
The enclosure features a durable white EVCoat finish, making it suitable for houses of worship, conference centers, transit halls, atriums, and other indoor sound reinforcement installations where a white loudspeaker is preferred. The speaker can operate as a standalone full-range system or serve as the mid-bass/high-frequency enclosure in a multi-way sound system.
For distributed audio applications, the optional TK-150 transformer supports 70 V/100 V systems. Electro-Voice’s patented Automatic Saturation Compensation (ASC) technology helps maintain low-frequency performance when multiple loudspeakers are connected in parallel. Optional mounting hardware is available for installation flexibility.
Note: The TK-150 transformer and mounting hardware are sold separately.
