The Electro-Voice PL80a is a cardioid dynamic vocal microphone designed to deliver clear, full vocal reproduction with an EQ-friendly response that fits naturally into live sound mixes. Its supercardioid pickup pattern helps reduce feedback and unwanted sound from nearby sources, allowing for higher gain and cleaner stage performance.

Featuring a frequency response of 80 Hz to 16 kHz and a powerful neodymium magnet structure, the PL80a captures vocal detail and character without harshness. Its shock-mounted capsule helps minimize handling noise, while the rugged dynamic element and fine-mesh Memraflex grille provide durability for demanding stage use.

Suitable for lead vocals, houses of worship, corporate events, and live performances, the PL80a also handles instruments and guitar amplifiers with ease.
