The TX1181 is a high-power subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency performance of the TX1122 and TX1152 loudspeaker systems. It features an EVS-18S 18" high-excursion woofer housed in a well-braced enclosure with large, low-distortion ports, delivering powerful, high-impact bass to complement full-range loudspeakers.

An integrated low-pass filter allows the TX1181 to be connected in parallel with a TX1122 or TX1152 using a single amplifier channel, eliminating the need for additional amplifier channels or processing. This makes it a convenient and versatile solution for expanding a sound system's low-frequency output.

Built for durability, the enclosure combines MDF and plywood construction with a tough EVCoat finish. Its rugged, dent-resistant grille features a rotatable logo, while four-way handles provide flexible carrying and handling options. The recessed input panel includes dual NL4 connectors for concealed connections and allows the subwoofer to be positioned closer to walls or other boundaries. An integrated pole mount supports mounting a TX1122 or TX1152 above the subwoofer.
