The RF Venue OPTIX1-S3 Remote Antenna Distribution System converts RF signals to optical signals for low-loss transmission over long distances using 1310 nm single-mode fiber. Supporting runs of up to 10,000 meters, OPTIX works with simplex, one-way 50-ohm radio devices operating from 100 MHz to 850 MHz. The system includes a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter converts RF from the remote antenna into an optical signal for transmission over fiber, while the receiver converts the optical signal back to RF and outputs it through a BNC connector.
