The BETA®98H/C and the wireless version WB98H/C are premium cardioid condenser instrument microphones that clamp onto the bell of wind instruments or onto the rim of percussion instruments. The integrated gooseneck and ratcheting swivel joint allows the mic to be easily positioned and secured, and an isolation shock-mount reduces the transmission of instrument 'key noise' and other mechanical noise. A gooseneck angle brace is included to provide better retention of the microphone placement during more active performances.
All WL93 models are supplied with a mounting block with attached tie bar, a sew-on mounting bracket, and an acoustic windscreen to minimize wind noise in outdoor applications.
All WL93 models include a cable terminated with a 4-pin mini connector which connects directly to a Shure wireless body-pack transmitter.
Premium materials, including Neutrik straight ¼” (6.3 mm) and locking REAN TA4F connectors, provide durability and lower cable handling noise and sets the WA305 apart for electric instruments, especially electric guitar and bass. The straight cable is ideal for Strat-type guitars with recessed jacks.
Recommended for sound reinforcement applications requiring high rejection of ambient noise and narrow pickup angle, the WL184 is a supercardioid lavalier microphone with a 115 degree pickup angle. It has a 1.2 meter (4 ft.) cable terminated with a miniature 4-pin mini connector. Included tie clip can be rotated in 90 degree intervals for placement flexibility. Use of windscreen highly recommended.
Feature CommShield® Technology, which guards against interference from cellular RF devices and digital bodypack transmitter
4-foot microphone cable connects a 4-pin TA4F mini-connector to a female XLR connector for bodypack transmitters.
